    Hi,

I try again to clarify our long lasting problem. We added some field to our events, in the event dashboard / field editor section. The first language of the website was the Hungarian.

Unfortunately, we couldn’t translate the English field names. We treid translate these with WPML, but in wain. The official WPML support told us, that this plugin is not on their compatibility list.

Finally, we used Hungarian field names, but we urgently have to launch the website on English. The situation is the same, so we can neither translate the Hungarian field names for English, nor can we translate the English field names for Hungarian.

Please be so kind and help to solve the problem.

    Thank you very much!

  • Hi @webreneszansz

Thank you for providing all the information. Our plugin is compatible with WPML just the submit event fields labels are generated from the field editor and it difficult to manage with the editor.

We have already improved this in our beta version once we have fixed this we will update the version. You need to wait for the next update.

    Thank you

    Hi,

Thank you very much for the information, glead to hear, that you working on it.

Can you please estimate, when will be the corrected version availeble?

We are waiting for the solution from February and the publication of two other languages on the website is very urgent.

Another translation problem, that if we try to use wpml for generate the another language wersion, than the system cannot copy the majority of the fields (however, the wpml setup is correct).

For example, the already translated taxonmies are copied, but the event banner, dates, venues, details of the organizer remain blank. Therefore the translation is extremly time consuming.

It is also problem, that if we input the organizer data manually, than the system remove all of the html tags and codes, so the organizer description is a long, hard readable text.

    Thank you!

    Hi @webreneszansz

Fields value is stored in the database and it will be converted from your end. If the event description is in English we can not automatically convert into your language. You need to do the translation with WPML. Fields label will be improved in the next update. I don’t have an exact ETA but we will try to release ASAP.

We have done lots of changes in the organizer soon you will get latest features.

    Thank you

    Hi,

Sorry, it should be some misunderstanding. I didn’t mentione the event description. It is about the other custom fields.

We are not removing the html tags it might be any other plugin which is removing.
Please read this for more information https://wp-eventmanager.com/knowledge-base/multilingual-website-using-wpml/
