Hello, Can you tell me how to translate on edit page on a post.

It does not work at all. Pushing translate button, the loading icon is showing up few second, that’s it. Nothing happen.

    My development environment is below;

    ?WordPress 5.5.3
?DeepL Pro API translation plugin 1.5.3.2
    ?Classic Editor pluguin has activated.
    ?Deepl API key have set.

I would translate Japanese to English.

    Thanks

JA/JP was buggy until 1.5.2.7, it’s fixed now.
I just fetched a news article in japanese, created a post, saved draft, translate JP>EN(UK), JP>EN(US), both work okay.
Do you have any weird output in the console ?

    Thanks for replying.

    Mine is still doesn’t work.
I can only find this warning in the console.
This has nothing to do with it, right?

You’re correct, it’s not relevant to the plugin.
Does the logs show something ? (DeepL translation / Maintenance )

Okay, so that’s a Forbidden response from Deepl API Server. Your account is either inactive or reached its limit

My plan is “DeepL Pro Ultimate”
So, it seems that there are no restrictions.

Could it be that you need the DeepL API plan to use this plugin?

I mean, plugin page says that you need a DeepL API plan.
I didn’t look at it carefully. Thanks for all the answers.
    I’ll try DeepL API plan.
