Hi, I can’t find the word “cost” (that is displayed in the meta info > details, for single events) in the language files. Can you help me locate the place where this particular word can be translated?

    Thanks!

    Hi @niwin ,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I’d suggest you using a Loco Translate plugin as it can be easy to use to translate websites: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/managing-translations-with-loco-translate. Please check it and let me know if you have any questions.

    Best regards,
    Marta

Hi, thanks for getting back. Should have said that I already use Loco Translate, it is with this plugin that I accessed the language files, and didn’t find this string.

So back to square one, can you help?

    Hi @niwin ,

Thank you for the information, and I’m sorry to learn of the continued difficulties.

Perhaps the Say What? plugin can help? — You can set up a “text change” with Original string as Cost: and Text domain as the-events-calendar.

Feel free to let me know how you go or if you have further questions/concerns.

Thanks, I’ll try that. But this string really should be accessible through the language files in the plugin.

Hi again, solved it by syncronizing the .po files in loco. Apparenty there was some problem with the location of the files and the translations. Now I can see “cost” and all the other strings.
