  • Hi Bovenmaat,

thanks for using MH Newsdesk lite.

There is no need to edit code in order to translate your WordPress theme. Instead you could easily translate the theme or only parts of it by using suitable plugins like Loco Translate. Here is a tutorial: How to translate WordPress themes with Loco Translate.

Well, I don’t want to translate the theme, that has been done by someone, but he has forgotten to translate some words.
The words Next Page and Previous Page should become in Dutch Volgende Pagina and Vorige Pagina. How do I manage that?

I meant: Next Post and Previous Post.

Yes, you want to translate parts of the theme. That’s the whole point of this request. Please do as instructed above and translate your preferred strings.

You could of course also translate the missing strings here, but please be aware that the official translation first needs to be verified by a Global Translation Editor on www.remarpro.com and that could take weeks, if not months.

And that’s exactly why you should follow the provided instructions to translate the strings on your site so that you have the translation available right away.
