    .

I upgraded from 2.9.2 to 3.0 and everything was working. … I upgraded all the subdomains via the admin page, update. Everything was fine.

    I manually upgraded from 3.0 to 3.1.3
I logged on and wanted to go to the Network Admin to upgrade the subdomains, and I cannot get there. At a place, near the top of all the individual sites that I login to, I get a notification like this. …

“Thank you for Updating! Please visit the Update Network page to update all your sites.”

When I click that link, I get these results from Safari, Firefox, Chrome. …

    —————

    Safari can’t find the server.
Safari can’t open the page “https://community4health.tld/wp-admin/network/” because Safari can’t find the server “community4health.tld”.

    —————

    Server not found
Firefox can’t find the server at https://www.community4health.tld.
Check the address for typing errors such as
    ww.example.com instead of
    https://www.example.com
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

  • Somewhere your domain got .tld in the address.

Right! “tld” How can I get rid of that? Where does “tld” live? …

It is part of the wp-config file where the define for DOMAIN_CURRENT_SITE is set at ‘community4health.tld’

Is that wrong? Is it referenced anywhere else? Where should I look to fix it?

what is your actual domain name? Upgrading should not have changed your config file.

The rest it stored in the db. which should be unaffected (at least domain name-wise) by upgrading.

In other words, upgrading should not change your domain on you.

After this conversation, I went to the wp-config file and changed the .tld to .com. …

    Now everything is hunky-dory.

Thank you for making me look under my nose.
