Transform social-media-menu to share-on-social-media-menu

  • In the social-media-menu in Twenty-Sixteen I can link to my profile on LinkedIn (for example) by providing a static URL to my LinkedIn profile.

    But I would like to use the social-media-menu for sharing articles in stead. In stead of the static link to my profile I would like to link to https://www.linkedin.com/shareArticle and provide a link to the current page.

    I understand there is a number of plugins that provide the same function, but I really like the graphics and the placement of the menu integrated in Twenty-Sixteen.

    Is this doable?
