Transferring from an old host to WP

Hey! So I used to use WP then thought maybe something different would be more what I needed, so I switched to wix.com hosting and I’m currently with them, but want to switch back to WP. I have no idea how to do that though! So any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. I saw some similar ones come up when I searched, but couldn’t find any advice that helped me figure it out! Thank you!

Edit: Also, whenever I search this I see stuff about “mapping”? I have no idea what that means, or if it’s necessary. Thanks!
