I built a self-hosted website for a client and connected Jetpack on the website to my WordPress.com account. The client would like to get access to the list of email followers. What are the options with this? Can I transfer the Jetpack profile in WordPress.com to another WordPress.com user, and would all the email followers transfer that way?
Or do I just need to disconnect my account from Jetpack on the site and have another user on the website make the connection and they will then see all the email followers?

    Hi there,

Followers are connected to the site itself, based the site ID on WordPress.com’s servers, and any admin on the site should be able to see them, provided that admin’s WordPress.com account is connected to the site.

Is your client a user on the site and are they an admin? If they log into WP-Admin and connect Jetpack to their own WordPress.com account, they should have access to stats and followers on the site via the WordPress.com interface.

You can also disconnect and have them reconnect – that should make them the “owner” of the Jetpack connection, but I don’t think that’s really necessary in this case. You can have multiple WordPress.com accounts connected to the site at once, one for each user that exists on the site itself.
