    Hi,

My site is built using Twenty Twelve, and it has some Tablepress tables. I would like to make the whole site (about 100 posts and a few pages) look nicer, but do not want to risk losing my Google, etc. rankings. If I copy and paste my text, and re-add images, would it harm rankings?

I asked a different page-builder place this question and they said it would probably harm SEO for existing posts, so I’m looking for something that would not.

Also wondering about transferring the tables, and if Elementor works on both posts and pages.
    Thanks for any advice.

  • Hi @vicky2
In general, moving your content is a process that could affect your ranking on search engines, regardless the method or tools you are using.
So my advice is to consult an SEO expert about this.

Elementor works both on posts and pages, and as for tables – we don’t have a widget for it, but you can do it by copy & paste your HTML.

If the meta description remains the same (as well as the content wording, keyword etc)I don’t think you will loose anything. But it all depends. I use Yoast SEO and so far, the ranking on my pages and posts where not affected.
