• I just switched from wordpress.com to www.remarpro.com and transferred my domain (which I had originally purchased via wordpress.com) to bluehost. Before the domain transfer went through, my new install of www.remarpro.com was hosted on a really odd URL — https://50.87.248.58/~ginnywr1/

Well, now the domain transfer has come through, and the main page is now ginnywrites.com, as it should be. But when you click anything — a blog post, the “older entries” link, etc. — it shows me the old URL.

I read some threads about switching incorrect internal URLs but they all seemed to be for normal URLs (e.g., .com at the end) and I’m nervous about messing with this one because I don’t want to mess it up if this kind of URL is something different.

I did use a plugin (Velvet Blues Update URLs) and it claimed to have changed 70+ URLs, but clicking around on my site still brings me to a ton of those weird number URLs.

Long story short, I’ve found a lot of resources on changing URLs from something.com to somethingelse.com but I’m not sure if those resources apply to what I have going on here (especially since that plugin didn’t seem to make a difference), and I don’t want to do irreparable damage trying to change it. Any tips?
