Transfer Jetpack subscribers from self-hosted blog address to new address.
-
I’ve tried using the debugging tool linked in the support information post and also posted in the WordPress.com support forums, but was told to post here instead.
Our blog was connected to Jetpack through a different URL https://chisel.middlebury.edu/~imcbride/wordpress/newenglandreview, which is a development server behind a firewall. I’m not entirely certain how that connection got set up in the first place, given that. However, this caused Jetpack shortlinks to break, since the links were being sent to the development version of the site. I disconnected Jetpack and reconnected it with the correct site URL https://blogs.middlebury.edu/newenglandreview, but in doing so lost the subscribers. I was wondering if there was any way to transfer the subscribers from the old address to the new one.
Old Jetpack ID: 33704038
New Jetpack ID: 47248822I lost stats as well, which would be great to recover, but the subscribers is the main thing. If the subscribers can’t be transferred on the back-end, can they be sent to me in a CSV? I have had several people attempt to fetch them from this address https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=stats&blog=33704038&blog_subscribers=csv&type=email but none were able to access the subscriber information there.
Thanks for any help you can provide.
