Transfer Issue – Can't get old pages

Hi,

In a bit of a dilemma here. We’re moving a blog from an old hosting account to a new one (with the same hosting company), the problem I have is that I’ve installed everything, but I cannot get our old posts to show up on the new blog.

All the plugins, themes etc. are all there, as are the uploads, but the posts won’t show when you go to the blog. What I’m concerned about is a) I didn’t export the old WP blog, so it’s not a simple import solution, and b) we don’t have any backups from the old site. What I did was download the old site via FTP, then upload the files (by FTP) to the new WP account on the new package.

Are there any solutions for this to make the new site read the old files?
