Transfer from .com incomplete

  • I’m transferring for a client and we’re missing about 90 posts from the import. It has given us 185 of 275 posts, the last 90 being the first posts from the blog. I’ve tried to do a partial import of just the posts that were missing, give or take one or two that overlap time wise, and it didn’t take.

    does anyone have any advice? is there another way of doing it that I’m not remembering?

    www.remarpro.com forums are for supporting self-hosted (self-maintained) WordPress installations, not WordPress.com sites.

    @jacernst – did you try re-exporting the file from .COM?

    @wpyogi – I did. I’ve done the whole file, and then a portion of the blog as well in. I didn’t do the initial transfer over- I’ve been brought in to clean up.

    The last number of posts wont move over. We would like to keep all the meta date intact or I would just move them over manually.
