• Hi,

I want to migrate content from PHP-Fusion 7 to WordPress. I want to migrate users, posts and added comments to posts. I noticed that it is possible to transfer this content using the WP Import Export Lite tool.

I did the test. First, I moved the test users from the test website. Then I moved the test posts. But unfortunately these posts are not assigned to specific users. All these posts are automatically assigned to my WP admin account. On a test site based on PHP-Fusion I added posts from an account called “test”. After the transfer, these posts are assigned to my WP admin account, not to the “test” account.

    Please help me.

    Hi,

    thanks for getting in touch

if you want to just transfer data between sites then please use migrate package.

    for migrate

For transfer data just use migrate package and the plugin will do all things automatically.

    just follow my simple steps.

    1) export migrate package by clicking migrate package button on the export page. it gives zip package

    2) upload & import that zip package and plugin will map all fields automatically

Thanks for the answer and the tip. But I want to upload data content from PHP-Fusion to WordPress. So I cannot use this plugin in PHP-Fusion to create a migration package.

    Hi,

you have to map field manually. when user not mapped or not found then post assign to default login user.

please mail me on on [email protected] with your sample file and saved template exported from WP Imp Exp => settings if any issue.

thanks and have a nice day

Support does not exist. For over 3 weeks I have not received any specific support regarding the attempt to import data from PHP-Fusion. Since August 20, I have not received a reply to my email.

    Hi,

    i replied you for solution

there are 2 reasons when post is not assign to it’s author.

    1) author is not exist in site.

    2) wrong mapping in import step 4

i give you more specific details.

go to step 4 => Other Post Options => Post Author => fill details about author.

    thanks

    Hi,

I replied to your message and I have not received another your reply. But thanks for this tip.

go to step 4 => Other Post Options => Post Author => fill details about author.

After entering the user here, the post has been assigned to that user.

But I want to import a post table from a database that has multiple posts, these posts were not created by one user, but by several users. So how can I assign all posts to the right users?

At this area, maybe I should enter usernames separated by commas?

    But I don’t think that’s the solution.

    3) import zip package.

    4) go to import step 4. check author mapping.

let me know if you still have any doubts.

    Hi,

In my opinion, this solution does not work.

    1) create 2 different post with different user manually from post => Add new menu

    2) export by clicking migrate button.

    3) import zip package.

    4) go to import step 4. check author mapping.

    I did it like this:

    1. I added two test posts in WP.
    2. Then I went to WP Imp Exp > New Export > Choose what to export > Post > Migrate Package > Download
    3. Then I went to WP Imp Exp > New Import
    4. I went to step 4 and the user has this code:

    {authorusername[1]}

    5. Then I uploaded test posts created in PHP-Fusion and in Other Post Options > Post Author I entered this code and unfortunately the posts were not assigned to the authors of these posts, but to me as WP administrator. Users to whom posts are to be assigned are uploaded in WP.
