Hello, due to some technicality and migrating user from wix to woocommerce store, users have lost their subscription status,

all of the migrates users came as: mailchimp_woocommerce_is_subscribed = empty.

which caused that every-time user logs in new website it synced it status and became “transactional only” I managed to solve this by uploading a fixed file of users with their meta:mailchimp_woocommerce_is_subscribed field set to 1.

Thing is, i had some users in my csv files that the meta:mailchimp_woocommerce_is_subscribed cell was empty (by mistake) and there for are stuck in transactional mode, when I try to resubscribe them via the user profile checkbox manually, the checkbox is resetting to unchecked and nothing happens in mailchimp, user remains “transactional”

Is there a way to change these users to subscribed?

    please advise.

Hi @nitsanel, this is probably a question better suited for the fine folks in Mailchimp support. We’re more on the engineering side of developing the plugin, but it may be a scenario where you can send some sort of one time double opt-in message to your customers that are now in Transactional status. They would know better than we would on the proper sequence of events to get those customers subscribed again.

They would be able to access your account and investigate further. You can reach out to their customer service team via this support link. You should be able to chat with them and take things from there.

Thanks again for getting in touch, let us know if there’s anything else we can do.
