Hi! My company is currently using this plugin to talk to their authorize.net account.
Everything seems to be working as needed up until we recently discovered that the Transaction ID is not being populated to the corresponding order entry to Woo-commerce.

This is a huge issue for us as our Quickbooks Sync software can not automatically add payment information to the SYNC que with the Transaction ID field being empty. We can manually add the transaction ID but that defeats the purpose of the automated Syncs.

Anyways you can add this functionality so that we capture the Trans ID and can continue to use this plugin? Thanks for your time!

Hello. Can you please clarify exactly which field you need populated with the WooCommerce order number? If you are referring to the transId field, that appears to be auto generated by Authorize.net per the documentation at: https://developer.authorize.net/api/reference/index.html#payment-transactions

We currently populate the refId and invoiceNumber fields with the WooCommerce order number.

Hello and thanks for your reply!
Yes the TransId field (as see as Transaction ID under billing information for an order – which is what is not being populated) is what is empty and my sync software can’t sync without it filled.

The Transaction ID is being generated correctly – it shows up on the Authorize.net information and I can use that to manually enter and get the payment infomation to show up in the SYNC area but my company really needs the transID to be entered into that field so we don’t need to pay someone to do it.

Any way to get this field filled on this end?

I’m still not sure that I am following what you need, and maybe it is because I am not familiar with the sync software that you are using.

Are you trying to get the WooCommerce order number populated as the transId in Authorize.net? Or do you need the Authorize.Net transId populated somewhere in the WooCommerce order?

Hi I provided a screenshot via Google drive with a red box around the field:

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/1IFSLTvt_mDBEfWQJ4rEkchBDqkyctyEw/view?usp=sharing

We need the Authorize.Net transId populated into the Transaction Id Box on the order. That box is accessed under Billing Information. If i copy and paste the transId generated from authnet into that box and save – Myworks Sync can then put two and two together and sync the payment into our quickbooks. For whatever reason the transId just isnt attached to the order.

We previously used a different payment gateway and when an Order was posted it said
Paid Via Credit card followed by the transId. Now if I manually enter the correct transId in that Transaction Id field and hit update my order displays this: Payment via Credit card (61983421080)<- transId (from a different order then the screenshot).
Leading me to believe it is simply not being attached because once it is it displays correctly etc.

I appreciate your time. Everything being said I am hoping there’s an easy way to populate that field via this plugin?

Thank you for the detailed description and screenshot. We just pushed an update (version 2.0.10) that should fix this issue. Let me know if there is still a problem after updating.
