Transaction Cancelled

  • Hi to all,

    Last week, After clicking the Checkout button, I’m sent to Paypal, The paypal respose was,

    “Things don’t appear to be working at the moment.”
    Thanks a lot, paypal. No clue as to what “things.” Some pal.

    So I update my template and woocommerce plugin to its latest versionn3.0.5 hoping the issue will resolve. But it wasn’t. I temporary disable the paypal checkout. I test the paypal checkout again today, the previous message was gone but replace by this new message,

    “Transaction Cancelled

    Error Message
    This function is temporarily unavailable. Please try your payment again later by returning to eBay and clicking the My eBay button.”

    I also found this last week, Paypal error: Things don’t appear to be working at the moment. it is from different plugin. I don’t think they resolve the issue either.

    Before I post this, I tried the paypal sandbox and it seems to be working but not the live version.

    Is anyone out there know the solution? I will really appreciate it. Thank you so much in advance.

  • Same fix seems to be working on WC2 site too. Thanks for your vote of confidence @nellybongo … but I’m just waiting for a fix from the Woo folks too ??

    Incidentally, is the support forum a little broken since the www.remarpro.com refurb? Why is this discussion turning up on page 3? Also can the OP change the title to something a little more descriptive? ??

    Just to add to the gravity of the issue, I’m also having the problem.

    Suffering some huge losses as our clients prefer PP over any other method of payment.

    Yes I agree @wwwolf like “EMERGENCY WORK NEEDED ON WOOCOMMERCE OR PAYPAL – Thousands of people need your help right now!”

    I understand this problem is urgent. My site can’t payment one day and I try read all code of Woocommerce to fix. If your site not working, please share url. I will see and I hope can help all.

    Has anyone actually got a response from either Woocommerce or PayPal? This is a major problem for lots of people across different versions of Woocommerce…

    Thanks for your support @dangcv you have probably helped thousands of shop owners with that fix already, I’m on other forums too @sguilliard and there is no mention on the paypal community forum of any problems or fixes as far as I can see.

    One of the sites that has a problem only sells tickets online; there is no shipping (not sure how that relates or not to ‘shipping details’ @astridleather)

    when I made a test purchase on my site earlier, I purposely selected “local pickup” (no shipping) as the option…so there weren’t any shipping details involved

    …and this order didn’t work

    Same problem, was seeing this on Woo Commerce 2.6.14, and updated to Woo Commerce 3.0.5 with same problem. After redirection to Paypal, the following error:

    Transaction Cancelled. This function is temporarily unavailable. Please try your payment again later by returning ….

    I am having this issue on my iPhone 7 with Safari but not on my Windows laptop using Chrome…

    Hi, @dangcv I change code like you said, it work fine for one site but for an other one Paypal said “Your cart is empty” do you have any idea ?

    is there a fix with 3.0.6 ?
