Transaction Cancelled

  • Hi to all,

    Last week, After clicking the Checkout button, I’m sent to Paypal, The paypal respose was,

    “Things don’t appear to be working at the moment.”
    Thanks a lot, paypal. No clue as to what “things.” Some pal.

    So I update my template and woocommerce plugin to its latest versionn3.0.5 hoping the issue will resolve. But it wasn’t. I temporary disable the paypal checkout. I test the paypal checkout again today, the previous message was gone but replace by this new message,

    “Transaction Cancelled

    Error Message
    This function is temporarily unavailable. Please try your payment again later by returning to eBay and clicking the My eBay button.”

    I also found this last week, Paypal error: Things don’t appear to be working at the moment. it is from different plugin. I don’t think they resolve the issue either.

    Before I post this, I tried the paypal sandbox and it seems to be working but not the live version.

    Is anyone out there know the solution? I will really appreciate it. Thank you so much in advance.

    Thank you so much. This fixed my problem as well. Glad I caught it today, before it had been a while. I had NOT updated WooCommerce yet btw.

    Tried the workaround proposed by @dangcv but it is messing up the price being passed on to paypal. It is chopping off the last digit in the total amount. Suddenly our customers are getting huge discounts! ??

    Turned off website payments from my site until this is resolved. Setting up now a mirror site using shopify.

    problems on my site too, including when I tested it several times. logged into site when putting orders through. on woo 3.0.5. Getting seriously hacked off with Woo 3 now, after a multitude of issues ??

    Oh dear, I am getting a bit worried over this have 10 sites using woocommerce and waiting for all the support calls.

    Im on 3.0.5 too, too scared to look at the others, they are running older versions,
    Just tested one using woo Version 2.6.14 and same problem so it must be a paypal problem surely.

    Hi,
    check ftp but I find this:
    wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/gateways/paypal/class-wc-gateway-paypal.php
    instead of this:
    wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/gateways/paypal/includes/class-wc-gateway-paypal-request.php
    no includes in paypal folder.
    Seems I have some problems, any suggestions?

    I have this issue on much older versions of woocommerce, so i`m sure its not the new update Ippiaye.

    @nellybongo this problem on all version of Woocommerce

    Same issue on two sites, one running WC3 one running WC2:
    – on the WC3 one, @dangcv fix seems to have resolved it – thanks! Watching for the truncated amounts issue, but don’t seem to have that problem so far…
    – about to go in and apply same fix to the WC2 one.

    Yes, def seems something has changed at PP – perhaps reduced error tolerance is triggering response to existing WC problem?

    I’ve shut down shops and put them in catalogue mode just incase, hopefully there is a fix soon. If not thank you @dangcv for your change in code.
