Traking not working

I’ve run into this problem as well. When I add the event as described in the documentation, Google Analytics doesn’t pick up the event and Contact Form 7 no longer displays its confirmation message when clicking Send. So, I had to remove it to get the form to behave normally.

Scanned through the last 15 pages of forum threads. Following are some more similar reports. Unfortunately, no solutions reported.
