    Hi. The error is this: “Trailing slash on void elements has no effect and interacts badly with unquoted attribute values.”

    Testing my website with w3 validator reported that aioseo adds a trailing slash to many urls like these:

    <meta property=”og:site_name” content=”mywebsite” />

    <meta name=”yandex-verification” content=”herj5ejentd” />

    Why? Can you please remove them? thanks a lot.

    Hey @salvatore1986,

    You can safely ignore these “errors” that are reported by the W3 Validator. These really aren’t errors, merely warnings, and have no detriment effect on your SEO or anything else. The values we output are properly quoted and thus the “error”/warning W3 shows is void.
