trailing slash on the category base

    It would be nice if you could have an option to have the category/ not added to the end of the Category base. Then you could add either %category% or %category%/ on the end of the category base. This would give you the ability to leave off he trailing slash. See a few people have had an issue with this.

    Or perhaps just a check box to leave off the trailing slash would work.

    I am working on getting some one to add this hack and was just wondering if any one else has done it.

    Also once the hack is done and working what is the process to ask wp to add this as a feature?
