    Hey guys,

I am having an issue and cannot find the solution anywhere online. The traffic light icons on my pages or posts for readability etc, do not show up when I open the page. Usually it is on the right side of the page or when I try to edit the page it is usually underneath so I can make changes to the keyword, meta description, slug, etc but i doesn’t show up anymore.

In the yoast seo settings, I have both seo & readability analysis turned on and it still does not show up. Has anyone else ran into this issue?

    Any help is appreciated, cheers

    Hello @stevennmooree

I’m sorry about your experience with the SEO & readability tabs. Please provide more information:

    1. Can you confirm the version of WordPress and Yoast SEO you’re currently on?
    2. Confirm that you have the right user permissions? You can check by going to WordPress > Users > Your Profile > Yoast SEO settings. Ensure that Disable SEO analysis and Disable readability analysis are unchecked
    3. Confirm that the SEO, Readability, and Insights features are all enabled in WordPress > Yoast SEO > Settings > General > Site Features > Writing
    4. Confirm that SEO and Readability are enabled on the posts/pages in WordPress > Yoast SEO > Settings > Content Types. Ensure that the Yoast SEO Meta box is set to “Show”
    5. Confirm if you go to the post/page and click on Screen Options (in the top right) that all the right options are enabled? If you are using the new Gutenberg editor you will need to click on the dots in the corner and select options.

Thank youuuu. The second point fixed the issue. Could not find this setting anywhere. Would not have thought to check User/Profile settings. Also, I don’t remember ever checking these boxes so not sure how that happened.. but it works now.

    Thanks again ??
