Hi, any documentation or best practices on this? Particularly to overcome the 2-stage subscribe workflow.

Looking to setup google analytics conversion goals as well as facebook event.

    Thank you,

    Hi there,

We currently do not have an out-of-the-box feature/capability to let you tag new subscriptions as google analytics conversion goal. This is certainly on the roadmap and will become available in the future. Please email us at [email protected] for more details.

That’s fair for a free plugin and service.

For anyone else who needs this, I was able to configure Google Tag Manager to track how often the prompt appears and when people click Subscribe in the Webpushr prompt. It’s not perfect as it’s only tracking the 1st optin, not the native browser optin that appears after. However, it’s a pretty good start for understanding which sources/content are driving subscriptions and which rate.

    Thank you for sharing.

We will update this thread with a link to the documentation when the support is added.

    Fantastic, thanks!

To clarify, this is tracking the more visual pre-optin right?

Is there a way to track the actual native optin as well? (I’m seeing a huge falloff between 1st optin and 2nd optin, trying to trace that down)

We will clarify in the documentation that this is for the native opt-in prompt. This only tracks actions performed on the native browser prompt.
