    Hi,

    since the rollout of version 4.0.13 I have noticed a tracking pixel right under the footer of my email newsletter.

    <img height="1" src="https://mydomain.com/?es=viewstatus&guid=zuslkh-quwhbd-zeahtu-psklvb-sdfslf&[email protected]" width="1" />

    I don`t want to track my subscribers.
    Could you please add the possibility to disable the tracking pixel? (e.g. in the settings menu)

  • Hi,

    Thanks for reaching out us.

    Sure. We will add the possibility to disable tracking option.

    We will update you once it will be available.

    Hi,

    Just want to update you that we have released ES 4.0.16 in which we have added option to enable/ disable email open tracking.

    By default, this is enable. You can disable it from Email Subscribers > Settings > General section.

    Hope that helps.

    Many thanks for quickly integrating this function! ??

    You are welcome ??

    If you like this plugin and support, please consider giving us 5 stars review.

    Thanks in advance!

    to have the tracking pixel enabled by default is not conform with the rules of GDPR(General Data Protection Regulation GDPR)

    If you integrate such a function in a plugin, it must be disabled at installation and there must be an option to enable it

    This is because the use of tracking pixels MUST be part of EVERY privacy declaration

    @avantart

    Thanks for your feedback.

    Tracking Pixel is by default enabled in the previous version of Email Subscribers. So, to provide backward compatibility, we have ser enabled.

    To compatible with GDPR, you can declare into the Privacy Policy.
    .
    Hope that helps.
