    Hi,
    Great plugin. If Google Analytics is loaded outside of the SEOPress Analytics settings (i.e.: loading gtag.js vis the theme), can the Cookie Bar opt-in feature still block tracking, or do we need to use the SEOPress Analytics settings to load gtag?

    If we do add the Google tracking and measurement IDs in SEOPress Analytics settings, should we definitely not add the tracking code elsewhere on the site?

    Hi,

    no it will not block the tracking code.

    I strongly encourage you to add your UA-XXX and G-XXX IDs to SEOPress settings and deactivate the tracking from your theme settings.

    Note that you can add custom tracking code from SEO, Analytics, Tracking tab, HEAD/FOOTER/BODY textarea.

    Don’t forget to clear your cache.
