Hello, I’m having trouble trying to add the tracking code when completing an order on the woocommerce app. I tried contacting the woocommerce support and they told me that that option was not a feature made by them so it was probably a feature made by AST. On the web it works perfectly while completing the order but since I use the phone a lot more to complete orders, I would like to know what happened. It worked before but now it doesn’t anymore.
So, on the app, when completing the order, I would press “mark order as complete” then it takes me to another page. on that page if I remember correclty it would have the option to add the tracking code

    Hi @gioconndasw,

We checked the Add Tracking option in the WooCommerce app and its working fine.

We are just added the Shipping carriers using the API in the WooCommerce App.

    Thanks

Hello, thanks for the reply. It seems like I’m not being able to find where to place the tracking code anymore. I tried reinstalling the woocommerce app before and after reinstalling the ast plugin aswell. Here’s the link with 2 printscreens:

Please make sure that you install the Jetpack on WooCommerce App.

I already talked with woocommerce support and they told me it has nothing to do with them

“WooCommerce.com Fri Oct 13, 8:18 PM By default, the WooCommerce mobile app and WooCommerce Core doesn’t have the functionality to add a tracking code to an order. However it can be done by using our Tracking extension:https://woocommerce.com/products/shipment-tracking/However, it sounds like in your case, that functionality was being added by the Advanced Shipment Tracking plugin you had installed. So, since we didn’t develop that plugin or support it, you should reach out to their support team for further help about it.”

Similar problem here but able to click ‘Mark order as complete’ in the app and then to add the tracking number and service – only to receive the message ‘Unable to add tracking to order’, with a ‘retry’ option.

Checking on the PC, I find the tracking number has been added multiple times to the order but none are actually functioning properly.

Adding the tracking number on the PC works perfectly.

I have Jetpack installed and running as required.

Is there a fix for this please as it would be very useful to be able to add tracking info using the app.

@soggybiscuit you will need to contact the WooCommerce support for this.

I think they will give the same answer as they gave @gioconndasw, don’t you think…?

Still not working. I tried unninstalling multiple times, tried the beta version of woocommerce, EVEN FORMATTED my phone and tried on a clean phone. On iPhones it works well, already tried on 2 different ones. On samsung it isn’t working. Please take a look and don’t just limit yourself to mark this post as solved when it isn’t. This is a really good plugin that I use FOR YEARS. If I’m trying all this options and still giving you the benefit of the doubt don’t you think you should consider to be atleast a bit helpful and actually making me feel like I’m not lost before moving to another plugin?

I’m having issues with tracking numbers being duplicated; I use CJDropshipping and when the order tracking number is imported it gets placed in the order twice… What can be causing this?

How do you import the tracking number, using the CSV Import functionality?
