I want to revert back to WooCommerce Shipping & Tax. The upgrade is a disaster. Will everything convert properly or will I need to input from scratch. Or fix the problem fast because order confirmation emails have a tracking link that doesn’t work.

Hi @signalhealth, sorry to hear you are experiencing issues. May I ask that you please let us know which carrier the link is for and at which location the link is located in your wp-admin area then we will confirm. You are welcome to share screenshots, just blur our the tracking numbers and any other private information before sharing it.

It’s for the USPS. On the right side of the image, the url would either go to a blank page or to PayPal. I have figured out a work around. I add the tracking number again in Add Tracking Number where you select the carrier and then I delete the first tracking number entry. But because of this work around, I can’t automatically send the order confirmation email because the url is incorrect in it too. I hope this helps.

Yes, it works. Thank you so much. Can I now suggest improvements? Why doesn’t it automatically validate addresses like Woocommerce Shipping & Tax did? We have do to it ourselves now.

    Hi @signalhealth,

Thank you for the update! We’re happy to learn it’s working for you now. And of course, you can always suggest improvements, we’ll be happy to hear any feedback you may have to improve our products and services.

Regarding the address validation, WooCommerce Shipping does not require you to validate an address to print a shipping label. You can purchase a label without validating the address; only when the carrier cannot find the address will we throw an error during label purchase and ask you as a merchant to intervene and validate the address. You will also be glad to hear that we have a validation at checkout feature that is very close to completion and, when enabled, will give your customer the ability to validate their address at checkout, thus streamlining the label purchase process even more.

    I hope this helps!

    Cheers!
