    Hello everyone.

Due to CDN configuration I had to change my wordpress address (URL) and the site address (URL), just adding the ‘www’. (wp-login and wp-admin are out of cache).

It is alright, I can write, edit and send, but all the links inside the arrived newsletter points to wrong addresses.

    I receive a tracking.[site without www].com.br not found error.

I am afraid that re-installing the plugin I will lose all the newsletters and confs.

Any Ideas will be very helpful, please?

    Thanks in advance.
    Pedro

  • Hello Pedro,

You don’t need to reinstall MailPoet for that. Actually, all your previews newsletters are already saved with that hardcoded path (URL) for the images and links, this way, there’s no way to change them anymore.

What you should probably do, is create a new .htaccess rule to properly redirect these requests to your new https://www.domain website.

Check this article, it’ll explain how to do that: https://halfelf.org/2014/htaccess-revolution/

Let us know if you need further help, okay?!

    Dear Support thanks for answering,

    It didn’t work.

So I was wondering, this tracking insnt from elasticmail? Then I checked out the DNS table from cloudflare, which had no CNAME for tracking.[mydomain]. And filling it, the arrived newsletters found the tracking links to mydomain or other directions.

For those who use Cloudfalre (or other CDN) with Elasticmail, you need to create a CNAME pointing to api.elasticemail.com at the Cloudflare’s DNS table also.

So, thank you very much Support for your help and making me think about the right question.

    Best regards.
    Pedro

    Hi Pedro,

Thanks for the feedback, that’s quite interesting.

We’ll definitely investigate that for future users.

    Thanks again!
