Tracking Mailchimp Signup Conversions in Analytics

I wanted to be able to track Mailchimp email signups in my Google Analaytics.
Initially I couldn’t find a way to do it, and Mailchimp support said it can’t be done.
But then I found a way, and it’s really easy!
