Tracking internal links as outbound links when not desired

I have “Track outbound click & downloads” checked. All of the nav link with the same domain as the site are being tracked as “outbound-widget-int” by default. I don’t want internal links being tracked with an event. I can fix this by putting the main domain into the “Set path for internal links to track as outbound links:” box. This doesn’t seem ideal. Is this a bug or working at intended?
