Tracking downloads

  • Hey guys, i was wondering what advice you have in regards to creating reports of downloads by user?

    I basically love the functionality of your plugin but am unsure how it works with other woocommerce extensions or functionality like ‘Reports’.

    We would like to see and generate reports on the downloads by users logged in via various membership states.

    …sorry is this something that is only included in the pro version and is it integrated with the Reports section in Woocommerce?

    Hi mate detailed download tracking isn’t available in the free version. A custom reporting thing is in the works, for now you can use a custom post data exporter plugin.

    Hey Rich, ok i’m temped to purchase the premium version of the plugin so i can get the download reports. Is it integrated with the reports part of woocommerce by any chance?

    It isn’t yet mate but I’m planning on including something soon, just working on some other things. Making it compatible with PDF Watermark and such.

    Ok mate sounds good. I’ll be purchasing the premium version very soon. Need some sort of download tracking and it looks like there is some functionality to do so.

    The PDF watermark provided from woocommerce is not actually very good. It has lots of limitations so personally i’m trying to find another work around.

    I guess its still best to make your plugin work with it as its one of the official extensions provided by woo, even if it is rubbish!

    There’s a few free PDF WooCommerce alternatives mate, saw a few when I was googling around. If you haven’t already might be worth checking them out.

    Morning Rich, i have an old one installed that we have been using for years now. As far as i know it works on downloads from the cart and woo emails. The only time i don’t get a watermark is when logged in and using the free downloads button. can you advise on one that captures customer info and watermarks when using Free Downloads?

    Wouldn’t know about capturing data mate, but none probably work with my plugin (yet). Working on that though.
