Tracking CTR

  • I currently have my message before my page posts with an embedded link that sends users to sign up for my newsletter. I would like to track the link clicks on my embedded link (and if possible separate it by individual posts).
    How would you suggest I do this?

    Hi Fernando,

    The short answer is that any method for tracking clicks that you’d use elsewhere on the page will also work inside the WWSGD message. One way might be to use a WordPress plugin that implements Google Analytics event tracking, specifically outbound link tracking. The links to your newsletter signup page may not be “outbound” per se, but the feature will still work. For example, try something like this, specifically, “Tracking Internal Affiliate Links as Outbound Links”:
