• Hi,

I’d like to know if it is possible with Ninja Forms to keep track of a number across different form submissions (by different users)?

Our use case is to use it for people to sign up for an activity that has a limited number of participants.
E.G. – say the max. number is set to 45. If then someone submits the form having chosen “2 people”, 2 would be subtracted, so the new total would be 43.

Then, when 0 is reached, subscribing could possibly be disabled – or a note being displayed to the user, eg. “putting you on a waiting list”.

    Thanks in advance!

  • Hi! Yes, this is possible as you can limit the number of submissions a form has. To do this, go to the Form plugin in the backend then go to the specific form -> Edit -> Settings then open the Restrictions tab and scroll down until you see a label saying “Limit Submissions” then for the textbox next to it, enter a number like 45. Then below that, you can configure a “Limit Reached Message.”
