Trackbacks I send out take over 8 hours to show up.

I have been trying to send trackbacks to other blogs, by first linking to them in my blog and then using the “Send Trackbacks” area. I am using the trackback url if they have one and the pings show a response fairly immediately.

But for some reason it takes forever (not sure exactly how long, but it’s between 4 and 8 hours) for it to show up on the blogs I am posting to. I thought it might be trackback moderation, but I know a friend who I sent a trackback to and he doesn’t moderate and doesn’t see any indication. I sent his 3 hours ago and still nothing.

Any idea how I might speed this up?
