    Greetings.

I recently updated from WP 2.5 to 2.5.1. After the update, the Post page only contains the Tags and Categories sections under the main writing area. The Trackback URI field was there before, and not it’s gone. (In fact, it seems like there were quite a few additional fields besides these two.)

Were things re-arranged in WP 2.5.1 and I’m just not looking in the right place?

Currently using Misty Look theme with the following plugins active:
    Clean Archives 3.0
    Del.icio.us Widget 1.0
    Gravatar 1.1
    NextGEN Gallery 0.95
    Spam Karma 2.3rc4
    Subscribe 2 4.6
    Subscribe to Comments 2.1.2
    WP Database Backup 1.7
    WP_MonsterID 2.1

An additional note: The bottom banner does not appear on the Post page either.

When I noticed this, I thought that maybe the post-new.php page wasn’t processing correctly. I re-uploaded the post-new.php page from the clean wp 2.5.1 archive (no change). Re-uploaded the entire wp-admin folder without any change.

I haven’t made any customizations to the Dashboard area.

    I’m stumped.

Okay, figured out the problem: When I performed the initial installation of WP 2.5.1, apparently there was a problem with the includes folder in wp-admin. (Some things weren’t completely uploaded.)

I re-uploaded the includes folder and the options on the Post page are now complete.
