J’ai retesté Gutemberg

    Above all to describe myself, I write very regularly on wordpress articles that have between 7000 and 15000 words integrating descriptions, photographs, map, videos and images with a very structured layout.
    I tested again Gutemberg by what I would like to understand in what way it will help me in the writing of my articles compared to the existing interface:
    I tried to justify my writings by changing via the editor htlm that visually it’s (for me) much more graphic, and the block removes the change when we return to visual.
    I understood from the different discussions the justification had been removed before making all the themes compatible.
    But in the name of what, could not there be an adaptation of the theme if the text is justified in the base of the article ??? !!!
    It misses the information: Number of words, names file of the page etc …
    Setting up an image within an article is not ergonomic
    I have not been able to copy several blocks other than by editing the page in HTML and then we lose the video links and some images when we convert the HTML block created into blocks

    If you are creating a new publisher for wordpress, think of those who write articles before thinking about those who sell themes. But maybe some of you see economic interests that are moving away from what you are selling. was wordpress at these beginnings …

    Because it’s not only idiots who can change their minds, I’m ready, but I have to add functions that are indispensable to me. I will put below what I miss to get to convince me, add stars and use Gutemberg.
    – You win 2 stars if you give us the opportunity to justify a text (no justification possible renders inoperative my graphic charter so no use of Gutemberg)
    – You win 1 star if you give us the possibility to group several consecutive blocks with the same background color, including under the images (when writing an article, divided into sections and subtopic, I need to contrast the different headings relative to each other, as if several blocks were in a table cell of a certain color).
    – You win 2 stars if you can merge two picture blocks with a text block (ie for example an image positioned on the left at the beginning of the text and the other on the right in the middle or lower part of the text (of course with justified text)).
    ?– You win 1 star if you allow us to bookmark a reusable “Super Bloc” (in memory) consisting of several reusable blocks as Gutenberg already offers, we could create sets of blocks that would redissociate once selected.
    – You win 1 star if you remove the creation of a block automatically when you press “Enter”. The editors need to be able to simply restart a sentence to the line using this key, and not to create new blocks at the beginning of the sentence (it is very disturbing).
    As you can see there are more stars to win than can contain the report of the plug-in, and that’s what I wish you …
