    Hello,

I have a page with 6 tours that was always loading fine but didn’t check since about 3 weeks and now I’m getting a message stating that “the file xyz could not be accessed”, although they all load fine when clicking on the link of the image in this message and that all of them load fine within your plugin when editing those Tours.

Other than that, when clicking on “View Details” about your plugin that is listed in my Dashboard I get this strange statement:

Warning: This plugin has not been tested with your current version of WordPress.
Requires WordPress Version: 4.0 or higher or higher
    Compatible up to: 4.9.7
Requires PHP Version: 5.6 or hig or higher

although I’m fully updated and running on WP 5.9.3

If you need the site’s URL please provide an email where I can send it you.

    Many thanks!

    UPDATE:

Found out that, for some reason, WP Fastest Cache was blocking those images from loading in pages. I excluded the relevant pages from cache and images are loading again. Might relate to CSS minification or JS combine. Should I rather exclude some JS files instead of the pages?

  • Hi @dsl225 ,

Sorry for the late reply and thank you for letting us know about it.

Yes, sometimes the caching plugins will block the JS files that will stop the tour images from showing up.

You can follow this documentation to learn about the files that you can exclude: https://rextheme.com/docs/wp-vr-control-script-and-style-loading/

Let us know if you face any more issues or need any help.

    Thanks for your feedback.

Unfortunately, your documentation about cache doesn’t seem to work for Fastest Cache for excluding JS, so I kept the exclusion for the page only. In fact, it is really not clear in this page about which files to exclude PRECISELY. There is not really a list about them, only the path of the plugin and the screenshot is not readable.

But you didn’t reply to my second question: why do we get such wrong information when clicking on View Details about your plugin?

    Hi @dsl225 ,

We’re sorry if the documentation has created any confusion.

You have to exclude all JS files of WPVR from your caching plugin.

And about your second issue, we just tested it on our end and we found the same thing.

Probably it was from an earlier version in one of the plugin files that wasn’t updated.

It was a mistake from our end.

WPVR is fully compatible with the latest version of WordPress.

We’ll fix this issue in the next update of the plugin.

Thanks but which files precisely? Where are they located?
It would have been so much easier if you just list them with their respective paths…

    Hi @dsl225 ,

Here are the files with their respective paths:

    wp-content/plugins/wpvr/public/lib/pannellum/src/js/pannellum.js?ver=1,
    wp-content/plugins/wpvr/public/lib/pannellum/src/js/libpannellum.js?ver=1,
    wp-content/plugins/wpvr/public/js/video.js?ver=1,
    wp-content/plugins/wpvr/public/lib/pannellum/src/js/videojs-pannellum-plugin.js?ver=1,
    wp-content/plugins/wpvr/public/js/owl.carousel.js?ver=5.2.4,
    wp-content/plugins/wpvr/public/js/wpvr-public.js?ver=1.0.0

The same issue is here again!
May I send you the page link by email please?

    Hi @dsl225 ,

Sorry for getting back late to you.

Sure, you can send the page link to support @rextheme.com

We’ll have a look and get back to you.

    Thanks for your feedback.
I just solved the issue by using Bunny’s CDN own plugin instead of going through WP Fastest Cache.

The issue is definitely with the way the cache plugin is handling files on CDN.

Will mark again this as solved and will get back to you by email should something similar occur again, thanks!
