Tournament Change

I am in the process of creating a site for a cyclespeed way club.

I am now upgraded to the pro, mainly for the tournament part of it.

My problem the tournaments that we run are races, each race has a maximum of four riders, then the get points for which ever place they come. Is there a way to change the tournament module so that each round can have four names in and then just add the points that they receive. Also is it possible to link tournaments to the events?
