  • In summary, Jose, the plugin author has been incredible. This plugin works beautifully, the design is pretty intuitive and the support provided has been nothing short of awesome.

    Here’s what happened: Based on a resource online, there was a list of about 10 plugins that are recommended for deactivating plugins on specific pages/URLs to improve site speed and optimization. I had tried the other 9 plugins on the list.

    And nothing worked for my needs cos I was running 2 themes concurrently on a single site and I needed to disable certain plugins on specific pages as there was a conflict between these plugins and the theme I was using on those pages.

    FDP was the last on the list of recommended plugins as it has the lowest number of installations compared to the rest (maybe cos it was launched at a later date). So by the time I tried out FDP, I was starting to despair over ever finding a suitable plugin.

    Surprisingly, FDP is the ONLY plugin on the list that’s able to run on my site. But there were a few glitches. I listed the issues in the support forum and Jose replied within hours.

    Turns out there’s some poorly written code in the theme I’m using and Jose went above and beyond to help me troubleshoot and FIX EVERYTHING.

    Do be reminded that this is a FREE plugin and even support for PAID plugins can be pretty crappy at times. Plus, Jose’s definitely not obligated to help me fix errors that are outside of his plugin. Yet, HE HELPED and did one hell of a good job!

    I saw in FDP’s website that there will be a PRO version soon. I don’t know about the other users of FDP but I’d be one of the first in line to get it when it’s launched. Why? Because I know that this is a quality and well thought-out plugin by an incredible developer.

    FDP has my highest recommendation. If you are reading this review because you are wondering if it’s any good, well, stop reading and install it now. Because it works and it works wonderfully.

    And Jose, you dear beautiful soul, you have my heartfelt thanks ??
