Touble setting up social slider

I’m really liking the socialslider plugin, but I can’t get it to work, on two seperate WP sites (on the same server mind).

On the SocialSlider settings page, instead of set up page (near the bottom of the image, where the social site icons are), I instead get none of those, apart from the Custom Widget, practically making it useless without the Twitter, FB etc.

This is a shame, it seems like a great plug in, and I’m confident my organisation would front some cash for something so powerful, given I could show it working, if you know what I mean.
