Total Price only calculating tax – not the actual product price

  • Having multiple problems…
    1. Total Price at checkout does not add the cost of the product. If I have a product that’s $5.99, the total price only shows $0.78 (the amount of tax on the product). When I add shipping, total price shows the cost of shipping plus the tax on the product, but the actual cost of the product.

    2. When customers are able to actually checkout, upon entering their credit card information and clicking ‘Purchase’, they are bounced back to the checkout page with a message that says “Please select a valid shipping method before processing your order” even though they have selected a valid shipping option.

    Thanks Edward! It appears to only happen for certain products. One example is the ‘Samba Whistle’ if you try adding that to the cart. Also, I’ve disable shipping at this point because customers were unable to finish checkout, so you won’t see that error.

    The total is correct.

    Is there some way to see it *with* the error happening? Do you have a staging setup where we can test without disrupting sales?
