Total Failure to Restore

    I am getting a total failure to restore. When I restore, it says I may need to reset my permalinks, but when I press that link, I get sent back to the install script. Here are the steps:

    1) Back up on live hosted site using WP Clone 2.1.6. (Both standard and custom .zip)
    2) Do fresh install on localhost of WP v. 3.9.1. Hosted site running same version.
    3) Install WP Clone addin 2.1.6
    4) Attempt to restore backup files (from link or local zip).
    5) After restore am sent to install script on local host.

    Interestingly it looks like the addins, themes, and media have been installed on local host but addins deactivated. No pages or posts came over.
