• Hi and thank you for such a great plugin.

My problem is that when i add 2 products to cart the Total discount of $10 ($5 discount for product 1 and $ discount for product 2) is applied to each product line.

As a result instead of making total cart discount of $10 plugin makes total cart discount of $20.

Please help to rectify this. thank you!

  • I am experiencing exactly the same problem. Please assist me. Instead of applying a discount of $5 per product for 3 products, the plugin applies the total discount of $15 per product which makes the total discount $45.

    Please urgently assist.

    Hi,
got the same Problem on fixed discounts and cant get it to work.

    This happens to variations.
    In Explanation:

Item Jacket costs 10$. Its available in S-XXXXL. The bulk quantity should start at 10 items (discount 1$ per item), and 50 items (discount 2$ per item).

    When customer buys 8 jackets in size s and 2 jackets in size m, the 10 item bulk discount should be like this: 8 x 10$ – 8$ + 2 x 10$ – 2$.

    What I get is:

    8 Jackets size s: 80$ – 10$
    2 Jackets size m: 20$ – 10$

This is not the way it should work. Please help

I’m getting this too. Has anyone found a solution, or an alternative plugin that works?

Also getting this. Specifcally for variations, it is calculating incorrectly.

In response to the above try Discount Rules for WooCommerce. The free version has limited functionality, bu the pro version might do the trick see: https://www.flycart.org/products/wordpress/woocommerce-discount-rules $39.00.

Plugin working flawlessly on 3 websites woocommerce 3.4.5 wordpress 5.0.2

    Good Luck

Hi Bob – thank you for the plugin suggestion.

Do you know in which format that plugin stores the data?

Many of the plugins store either serialized data, or store the data in a seperate “discounts” table. Woocommerce Bulk Discount plugin is one of the few that stores it in simple Custom Data fields.

Regardless, I believe the way Woocommerce Bulk Discount plugin calculates fixed discount on variations is currently wrong. I’d like to see this legendary plugin fixed rather than replaced.

    Hi,

No idea without looking at the database tables. I use the plugin to only calculate Bulk Discounts which appears in the woocommerce order table as a discount, so it is serialises the data in that respect.

I haven’t used the plugin for individual items, so can’t comment on that particular use. I’d suggest contacting the author directly as they’re pretty responsive and do answer reasonably quickly.

Suffice to say that this plugin has been flawless, which is why I use it.

    Best

    Bob
