Topics or Links not showing up with Avada

    Trying to figure out what order of configuration needs to happen for the element to show up. The plugin details has a link to a tutorial, but that page is dead.

    Initially we had comments disabled, and nothing showed up on our Posts when this plugin was enabled. The topics are being created and linking back to posts, but posts aren’t interacting with topics.

    We tried instead enabling comments to see if that is required, but that doesn’t work either.

    Using Avada, so I assume that’s the conflict. If we add the Comment element of Avada to the layout then the comment system appears, not the bbPress topics/links.

    Anyone have experience getting this working with Avada?

    sorry, we don’t have experience with avada so don’t have much to recommend.

    Try using the Health Check and troubleshooter plugin to temporarily disable plugins til you find which is causing the conflict.

    Also turn on the debug log and check for any errors.

    Beyond that you’d need to do real debugging, inspecting the code during a page load. Xdebug is the tool for that job.
