• I asked this question yesterday, but my topic was closed without any answers. The issue occurred following the update to WordPress 3.5.1., and occurs in different themes; hence my original post in the WordPress forum. I am trying to understand the applicable codex so that I can apply it. This is not a theme-specific question.

Objective: Sticky posts show in slider when using latest posts for homepage. I’d like to use a static home page, and display the sticky post slider.

Question: What code applies to the home page feature (where it identifies which type of front page has been selected in the admin panel) and where is it typically found?

    Thanks much.

    Above is theme related.

    Above depends on the theme.

If using a theme from here, post this in that theme’s forum section. If your theme is not from here, you need to ask the theme provider/developer.

Yes, this was posted on the theme’s forum here –

Hence why the thread was closed – as is this one – duplicate threads are closed per the forum guidelines.
