I’m using the shortcodes to display latest topics for only specific forums. However, not all the forums I’m specifying are showing up on the page. In the above page in the ‘Forum Activity’ section, I’m using the following shortcode for the page:

    [bbp-display-topic-index show=’15’ forum= ‘30084,30068,30072,30070,30138,30147,30149,30151,30145,30090,30092,30143’]

However, topics from forum 30084 aren’t showing up in the activity section.

This is the case for a couple other topics as well. I’ve tried experimenting with a couple different formats, but can’t figure out why the shortcode isn’t working.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

can you try this with that forum not being the first or last, and seeing if it appears

I tried putting it in the middle, but the forum topics from 30084 still aren’t appearing.

hmmm… Not sure why this is happening – I cannot replicate the issue, or see any logic for it happening.

I do hate not finding a reason for issues, but logically it is something for that forum, as it is always that one that won’t display.

Is there anything in the setup of that forum that is different from say 30068 that is displaying – eg type (category/forum), visibility, hierarchy (parent) that might be causing this ?

OK–it took me a bit, but I now have some idea for the source of the problem. The setup of the forum is identical with its type, visibility, and parent–but I order my forums and it was placed at #6. It didn’t show up when its placement was #6 or #5, but it did work when its placement was at #4 and #0. (Another forum did work when it was at placement #5… I’m not sure why.)

I’m able to make do with this with some rearranging, so this isn’t a pressing concern for me anymore, but it seems like there’s some bug dependent on forum order.

    ok, thanks for that.

I’ll keep it marked as resolved, but I’ll take a final look in then next couple of days to see if I can work any background reason
