Topbar is messed up in IE8

Hi, Thanks for the wonderful theme.
Recently, some users have reported that topbar is congested to the left in IE8.
Though IE8 is outdated but it still represents one-third of my site’s readers.
I’ve added modernizr.js but the problem remains the same.
Having searched around but there’s no related problem.
How do I fix it? Thanks in advance!
