One thing to check is if it is the exact same sidebar as created by your theme. e.g. some themes will have a different sidebar for some pages vs others. What happens when you hit “Customize” on the /hello/ page vs. /shop/ page?

Is there anything different about the hello page vs. the shop page?

    Hi Ajay,

Yeah they both have the same side bar. They are both set to the CUSTOM page – this is what is confusing. It was working fine before but the site has been offline for a few days as I transferred the domain to the hosting site (was previously different companies). It is since the transfer that this has happened.

“Default Template” is set on normal pages. The shop pages are set by woo commerce and don’t have a style choice available.

It was all fine until I transferred the domain to another hosting site that holds the wordpress files. The site was offline for 5 days while this happened. This is the only thing that has changed. It is very strange.

    Few things worth trying

    – delete the widget and re-add it to the sidebar
    – switch to another theme like the default 2017 theme and seeing if this fixes the problem i.e. it displays on all pages
