Top Ten daily counter isn't incrementing properly?

I’ve seen this issue many times and finally decided to ask about it.
Right at this moment I have 349 users online (according to WP-Useronline), nearly all of which are reading the same article (it was posted prominently on Facebook).
The problem is that Top Ten Daily Popular Posts (in the Admin area) only shows that 23 people have read the article.
Any thoughts about this? Thanks!
