Top Stories / Category Posts

On the sidebar I have a Custom Menu called “Destaque” which would be “Top Stories”, but it’s a pain to edit this thing, so I was thinking about create a “Top Stories” category, hide it from the header bar and then use it on a Widget to show ONLY the posts filed in “Top Stories” category.

Thing is I don’t know any widget or plugin that let me do that, feel free to share any other way to have a “Top Stories” on the sidebar.
